Wills, Trust and Estate

Estate Planning
Estate planning is the process of arranging and managing your assets during your lifetime so that when you die, your estate is transferred in accordance with your wishes. Effective estate planning can ensure that estate duty, taxes and other costs associated with death are minimised as far as possible, and it can make extending your legacy to multiple generations easier.

Will
A Will is a legal document explaining what should happen to your assets when you die.

Trusts
Living or Inter-vivos Trust is a written document in which an individual's assets are provided as a trust for the individual's use and benefit during his lifetime.
Testamentary or Will Trust specifies how the assets of an individual are designated after the individual's death.
